Experience Summary
At Bradley University I was an English major with a Journalism concentration. I love writing and one of the things I enjoy most is the proof reading and editing stage of writing. I can help with any kind of writing necessary from proposals, to research projects to lab reports and journalism articles. Throughout high school I tutored other students after school. In college, as an active member of Pi Beta Phi sorority, I volunteered as a tutor. I worked with both high school and college level students in English and Journalism. I have also taken many years of Spanish and was able to help students in that area as well.
Teaching Style
I love English and the writing process and helping other students and children become more comfortable in these areas is very important to me. When I was younger I had trouble with writing and it wasn't until high school that I really began to excel in writing. With my early struggles with writing, I understand how frustrating it can be. I have a very laid back personality and am extremely patient. I believe that I am capable of making learning fun. The idea of helping another student in a field that I love so much is amazing.
