Experience Summary
As an Educator, I have worked and taught in many diverse settings such as Elementary, Charter and Private schools, an Arboretum, a working Grist Mill park and a Library. I have taught all ages from Pre-school through adult. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master‘s Degree in Reading. I am a Certified Elementary Teacher for grades K - 6, and Teacher of Exceptional Children, grades K - 12. I have taught Environmental Science to 2nd - 8th grade students with learning differences and English to 6th - 12th grade students with ADD/ADHD.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with students of all ages. I believe that each student is unique and has their own way of interpreting, analyzing and applying information. The position of an educator is to assist students in finding their strengths to build mastery and confidence. The educator will also asssit individuals in finding ways to gain skills that will encourage, reinforce and fortify training and readiness in weaker areas. My job as an educator is to help each student achieve success.
