Experience Summary
I was a parent volunteer in my children's elementary school for 4 to 5 years. I was a substitute teacher in grades 1 thru 4. I tutuored my two children for two years. I taught summer school to first and second graders, was a teacher's assistant, and worked as a one-on-one tutor in a reading program in the elementary school. I have also mentored students and adults in academic subjects as well as elementary subjects. For the past two years, while attending college, I have been tutuoring other college students in English, Reading, Elementary Algebra, Accounting I and II, Business Math, Introduction to Computers, Excel, amoung other Business coarses.
Teaching Style
I've always enjoyed tutuoring others because of the joy I get from seeing them learn new things. I love to see them experience a sense of accomplishment. Knowing that I could be part of their success, is a feeling that is undescribable.
