Experience Summary
For the past two years, I have been a substitute teacher for the Clark County School District. My primary focus has been on elementary education, however, I am comfortable teaching all grade levels. My expertise is in English, grammar and writing. I have also spent a year prior to my move to Las Vegas, doing private tutoring in the Los Angeles area.
Teaching Style
My first substitute teaching assignment was in a class of Autistic children. It was a great experience in that I realized how important patience is to the success of any teaching experience. Each step toward achieving a student's goals, whatever those goals may be, is to be savored. I enjoy helping students pursue their goals and helping them recognize and appreciate their opportunities to succeed.
