Experience Summary
Over the past 4 years, I've worked at the Colton Community services recreatioon depatrment. As an employee I've worked in Drop-In Recreation, in which I provide my assistance in helping the children do homework and tutor them as they needed. fot the past year and a half, we've started a new program called Homework help, which is to focus more on helping the students one on one with homwwork, reading, math, projects, etc.
I am currently working on getting my AA in Child Devolpment to continue my drive to become a teacher. Ive already taken a child devopment class, and I also hold a few certificates: Food handlers certificate, first aid, and cpr.
Teaching Style
I am a very one on one type of person. I want to make sure the child understands on their level of thinking, which might mean using what they use on a daily basis to explain clearer. Depending on the age of the child and what subject that needs to be taught will depend on which way I will attack the situation.
