Experience Summary
As a graduate of Wright State University, I was taught to be motivated to achieve the goals which each class helped me achieve. I have earned a bachelor degree in History. This degree has given me the knowledge base which is needed to not only understand a period of time but also be able to correctly write with proper grammer. I have tutored students in Histroy, English, and Mathematics.
Teaching Style
I believe that children will learn better with their own interests in mind. While I was tutoring History, it helped the child understand the concepts of the battles of the Civil War easier when I showed a map and used plastic army men. While tutoring Math, the student understood the concepts of fractions better if I used measuring cups for simple fractions.
