A Little Bit About Me...

I've always have had a passion for children and teaching children. My 10 years experience in being the Director of Children Ministry at my church has enabled me to be creative, open minded and flexible when dealing with educating young minds. I believe that all children have the potential if they had someone to help them fuel their fire within them...so they can see the gold ring when they reached for it!
I chose to earned my BS in Microbiology and minor in Chemistry because it was one of the hardest major. I did this in four years while married with three children. As an undergraduate student at the University of California Santa Barbara I found and nurtured a love to pass-on learned experiences to others. The program I was heavily involved with was named MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement). Illustrative, intuitive and inductive is my 3-I's from the teaching experience. People understand things through different routes and it is not the material that is difficult, but typically it is the material doesn't ring a bell to the person's mindset.
