Essentially my teaching style is through showing the proper tools to use for solving an algebra problem. Once the proper tool is understood, algebra is just like following a series of instructions, much like a cookbook. From past personal experience, I understand how confusing and intimidating algebra can be. I will strive to make my students confident with their algebra skills.
I recently finished my PhD. in biomedical engineering at UCLA. I also have a background in rocket propulsion analysis. With my skills, I am fully confident I can teach and tutor algebra. I have over a year in experience as a teaching assistant at UCLA.

I chose to earned my BS in Microbiology and minor in Chemistry because it was one of the hardest major. I did this in four years while married with three children. I enjoy challenges like this because I believe that with dedication, practice, and passion anyone can accomplish whatever goals they set out to do.
I've always have had a passion for children and teaching children. My 10 years experience in being the Director of Children Ministry at my church has enabled me to be creative, open minded and flexible when dealing with educating young minds.
