A Little Bit About Me...

I recently finished my PhD. in biomedical engineering at UCLA. I also have a background in rocket propulsion analysis. With my skills, I am fully confident I can teach and tutor algebra. I have over a year in experience as a teaching assistant at UCLA.
Essentially my teaching style is through showing the proper tools to use for solving an algebra problem. Once the proper tool is understood, algebra is just like following a series of instructions, much like a cookbook. I am a 'relaxed' teacher, but maintain - or try to maintain - a good study pace. The individual I may be tutoring may require different approaches to try and learn the material at-hand; however, I have always found that with a positive attitude and a constructive approach to any learning 'issue' the solution is normally found between both the student and the tutor (as to the best study method works for the individual at-hand).
