A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style varies according to the different areas of need in each child. No one child is the same, and they all learn in different manners. I approach the student with a safe and clean environment in which they feel the most comfortable learning. A method that works best for them and a friendly approach that makes them understand I care about them and am there to help. I keep in mind that every child has a different way in which to reach goals, so I provide each child with an individualized goal sheet.
As a daughter of an elementary education teacher, I have been driven by a passion to teach children in areas where they show need. I am in my second year in Northern Arizona University with junior credits. I love working with and helping our young ones grow not only mentally but to do it and they have a sense of pride about themselves in the end.I encourage and push and I definately wont do it for them but I'm there for support and questions.

I recently moved to Arizona and received my substitute teaching certificate. I am a new college Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Ag Leadership and Development. My degree helped me understand how individuals learn and process information. It also helped me understand and respect people of different cultures, religions and races. I learned many different teaching mechanisms and strategies to educate individuals. While in high school I was very involved in 4-H and other extracurricular activities. I worked closely with children on leadership and educational projects. I feel that I am more than qualified for this position.
