A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and working with all types of children. I think children learn in different ways and have to conform to their teaching style. I was a slow reader but have learned ways to make reading fun. I hope to make reading fun for the child. I want the children to meet thier full potential of what they are capeable of. I want to make a difference and start making a reader today.
As a college graduate I have been driven to do my best to make sure every child is given the opportunity to have the very best education. I love kids, and I love helping them learn and succeed. I have always believed that children learn best when learning is fun and interesting. I try to incorporate new and interesting methods of teaching into my lessons, including manipulatives and "hands-on" learning, and using "real world" examples that kids can relate to.
