I am a senior at the University of South Carolina Honors College. In May 2013, I will graduate with degree in Biology, a minor in English, and a cognate in Chemistry. My current GPA is 3.928. I was a pre-med student until recently, and I was my high school Valedictorian. I have tutored children in the past from ages 7 to 13, but I am comfortable tutoring all ages. I am also have a strong knowledge of the German language. I like to provide an explanation, and have the student complete a similar exercise themself, with help from me only as needed.

Science is similar to math where it is important to practice problems. I mostly tutor Organic Chemistry, in which I prefer to help individuals work out extra practice problems (or those assigned by the teacher) to practice concepts. I have a similar approach in the other subjects I tutor. It is best in science to work out hard problems outside of class because then it reviews all concepts needed to answer these problems on a test.
