Online Math Tutor

I only teach online on an hourly basis. When I teach I don't just answer the questions my students ask of me rather let them understand it for themselves. Also, I encourage them to think and analyze too so that I would know where they are weak. I also develop their interest in learning the subject . That being said, I make learning fun and appealing.

I have 4+ years of experience developing in python 2.7 and Pygame, with working game examples being mainly a LightCycle game. I have an ongoing understanding of Java, C#, and JavaScript which continue to advance since July 2013. I have completed a high school level course which covered HTML, Visual Basic, and Python, passing with an A. I'm an incoming freshman at UCSD, but I've completed the SPIS program which has students create image manipulation programs, create fractals, and encode ASCII messages inside pictures, all of which utilizes recursion and looping. My comments on tutoring Calculus I : I have taken and passed both Calculus 1 and Calculus 2. After taking Calculus 2 I feel very confident in my skills with Calculus 1.

I just recently graduated California State University with a degree in Liberal Studies. Within this degree I chose to emphasize on mathematics because I want to become a high school math teacher. I have taken every course from Algebra-Intermediate Calculus. I am highly experienced in Algebra 1 and Geometry. I have been working at a probation school for a year and a half with at risk middle school and high school students. One of my many obligations is to help my students in math. I mainly tutor my students in Algebra 1 and Geometry.
I feel that positive reinforcement and patience are two very valuable traits when it comes to teaching. I work hard to ensure that I demonstrate these traits when working with my students.

Math and Physics tutor

I have just finished junior year of high school and will be a senior this fall. Throughout my life I have always been especially good at math. I never fail to get an A in math every year. In 10th grade I decided to skip Pre-Calculus from Algebra 2 to AP Calculus BC when I enter 11th grade. Interestingly, I still found AP Calculus BC to be relatively easy.
