Hands on - I'd prefer if those who I tutor had a computer to experiment on. Learning through doing is the best way.
I have 4+ years of experience developing in python 2.7 and Pygame, with working game examples being mainly a LightCycle game. My comments on tutoring Calculus I : I have taken and passed both Calculus 1 and Calculus 2. After taking Calculus 2 I feel very confident in my skills with Calculus 1.

I feel that positive reinforcement and patience are two very valuable traits when it comes to teaching. I work hard to ensure that I demonstrate these traits when working with my students.
I just recently graduated California State University with a degree in Liberal Studies. Within this degree I chose to emphasize on mathematics because I want to become a high school math teacher. I have taken every course from Algebra-Intermediate Calculus. I am highly experienced in Algebra 1 and Geometry. I have been working at a probation school for a year and a half with at risk middle school and high school students. One of my many obligations is to help my students in math.
