I am a graduate of BS Mathematics and currently pursuing my master's degree. I have also been a lecturer for a year right after graduating. I am also a tutor in a tutorial center here in the Philippines. I teach high school and elementary students in almost all subjects but my expertise is on Math. A Little Bit About Me...

I have 4+ years of experience developing in python 2.7 and Pygame, with working game examples being mainly a LightCycle game. I have an ongoing understanding of Java, C#, and JavaScript which continue to advance since July 2013. I have completed a high school level course which covered HTML, Visual Basic, and Python, passing with an A. I'm an incoming freshman at UCSD, but I've completed the SPIS program which has students create image manipulation programs, create fractals, and encode ASCII messages inside pictures, all of which utilizes recursion and looping. I have experience programming with 3D objects in Unity, although I'm new at it.
Hands on - I'd prefer if those who I tutor had a computer to experiment on. Learning through doing is the best way.

Math and Physics tutor

I have just finished junior year of high school and will be a senior this fall. Throughout my life I have always been especially good at math. I never fail to get an A in math every year. In 10th grade I decided to skip Pre-Calculus from Algebra 2 to AP Calculus BC when I enter 11th grade. Interestingly, I still found AP Calculus BC to be relatively easy. I am the vice president of a tutor club at La Costa Canyon High School. I teach students after school all subjects. I also tutored students outside of school. My comments on tutoring Calculus I : I have taken and passed both Calculus 1 and Calculus 2. After taking Calculus 2 I feel very confident in my skills with Calculus 1.

I feel that positive reinforcement and patience are two very valuable traits when it comes to teaching. I work hard to ensure that I demonstrate these traits when working with my students.
I just recently graduated California State University with a degree in Liberal Studies. Within this degree I chose to emphasize on mathematics because I want to become a high school math teacher. I have taken every course from Algebra-Intermediate Calculus. I am highly experienced in Algebra 1 and Geometry.
