I did very well in Algebra 1 and 2 as a middle school and high school student, and have also taken college algebra. I've mentored students in elementary-middle school math for a year in the public schools in Lincoln. Some of them were in pre-algebra or had algebra as part of their course. I've been a Mentor with Lincoln Public Schools for over a year. Mentors function as one-on-one teachers for gifted students in an area of their strength. I've taught math to elementary school students (many of whom were in middle-school level math) and am also qualified as a Chinese mentor for all levels and a Social Studies mentor.
