Experience Summary
'The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires'. These words by William Arthur Ward, could not be stated any better. As a Summa Cum Laude graduate and currently a PhD student at UNL, I cannot be grateful enough for the many teachers/professors along the way who not only took an active interest in my academic and professional success, but also had outstanding teaching methodology, genuine passion, and commitment to their work that inspired and motivated me as a student. Out of this experience, I have been inspired and motivated in many ways to take the lead and help many students reach their full potential. During both my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have had the pleasure of helping hundreds of students reach their own potential. I have seen results of great satisfaction and improvement in students' grades, which gives me the ultimate joy.
I am a well-rounded person and I specialize in tutoring general science courses;Biology I & II, Microbiology, Math- Algebra 1 & II, Pre-Calculus, finite math. Also, as a holder of a Master's degree in Food Science with a concentration in Nutritional Biochemistry, I can teach Food Science and Nutrition classes, particularly phytochemicals/bioactive compounds, minerals and vitamins courses.
As stated earlier, I am currently a PhD student and therefore, I try to be flexible with time since I spend most of my weekdays in school. Weekends and evenings during week days are the best times for me to schedule an appointment.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve success in your studies.
