Having a love of language and having a desire to be able to teach at all levels, I obtained an MA in English from the UNC-G. I have had 43 years of teaching and tutoring at all levels, elementary through college. A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching children and young adults. I understand how to connect with people on a level on which they feel comfortable. I take the time to get to know the children so that I can teach them in the ways that will best suit them. I tend to be a creative teacher - I enjoy hands-on activities. A Little Bit About Me...

As I indicated, I have a B.A.in Philosophy and later studies in Art. Later, in 1975, I decided to return to obtain a DMD at BU. After that I joined the Army and served as an Army dentist. Due to events in my life following my brief sojourn in the Army, I traveled abroad to India and Asia. Upon returning, I continued to study, but this time in more spiritual matters. I currently live with my daughter and 3 grandchildren and we have a small family registered daycare. I also participate with the children. However, I do spend a few hours a day writing and I am also a webmaster.
