I finished my high school in Peru and after that I went to Barcelona(spain) to study music. I started playing guitar 10 years ago but playing like 12 hours per day, I took it really serious, I started teaching 5 years ago, and right now is what I do, I work with bands playing in bars, casinos, or recording sessions, and I give private lessons, I work at Rhythm fire school of music in olympia also. Everyone has the ability to learn but not everyone has the same ability. Most people are visual or tactile learners whereas most teachers, in my experience, use verbal/aural instruction methods. I believe in tailoring my teaching to the needs of the student and not to what I am most relaxed with. I have personally taught several tactile students who had to have something in their hands or they could not grasp the concepts.
