My comments on tutoring ADD/ADHD : I am certified teacher at the Master's level with certifications for early childhood, elementary, special education, ESL and reading specialist. I am trained in Mindfulness for children.

I graduated from Arcadia University with a Bachelor's degree in education from Arcadia University in 2014. I then went on to earn my Master's degree in education a year later from Arcadia University. Since that time, I was a classroom teacher for special needs students in an elementary setting and the lead EC teacher at my school and served on our student support team and school improvement team before becoming a district educational diagnostician. I have been tutoring since high school and have worked with students from preschool to college. Turning your weakness into your strength

I help guide the student along, having them discover much of the information in a trial and error fashion. I tend to use the questions they are struggling with the most, making similar examples, then walking them through these problems and breaking down the problems until the student understands the how the process works.
I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting with my peers in tenth grade. I have tutored a wide range of subjects, from Geometry through Calculus III, from general computer knowledge through utilizing the advanced functions of Microsoft Access. Helping children work through learning issues is my passion.

I have 22 years experience teaching public education k-6. I began my career as a special education teacher and then moved into regular education classrooms.
