My comments on tutoring ADD/ADHD : I have successfully tutored students that have ADHD.

I give the students a skills assessment to identify which concepts they need assistance with. I help the students improve their grades at school by working with them on those concepts in addition to helping them with the concepts they are currently working on in school. Turning your weakness into your strength

I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting with my peers in tenth grade. I have tutored a wide range of subjects, from Geometry through Calculus III, from general computer knowledge through utilizing the advanced functions of Microsoft Access. I have tutored people ranging from my peers to people three times my age, to as young as third graders. My motto has evolved into "Helping those who feel they can not be helped"
I help guide the student along, having them discover much of the information in a trial and error fashion. Helping children work through learning issues is my passion.

I have 22 years experience teaching public education k-6. I began my career as a special education teacher and then moved into regular education classrooms. I now tutor children from the Zoom platform since I cannot see them in my office due to the pandemic. I have been doing private tutoring for 2 years.

I am a teacher and tutor. A good deal of my experience has been teaching Reading and Language Arts. I also have a degree in Learning Disabilities. I have taught school for 29 1/2 years in Special Education . My positions were in Preschool Special Needs, Elementary Special Needs, and High School Occupational Course of Study.
