I am currently pursuing my Masters in Education, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of education, english, math and science.In addition,I am a fluent Spanish speaker, which has also enabled me to assist students. While employed at UTSA, I gained the following experience while working with college aged students: Assisted students in the understanding of chemistry skills and laboratory reports. Collaborated with the professor and colleagues to assess the student's needs and how best to address them. Assisted students with homework tasks and supplemental assignments. Created structure for and managed laboratory setting for students.

During my time as an undergraduate I was blessed with the opportunity of tutoring others. I have earned one bachelor degree, BS in Biology with and emphasis in genetics. Along with my bachelors I have obtained two minors as well, one chemistry and the other in sociology. Due to this background I was able to excel in teaching others the fundamentals of biology. Partaking in research, working on lab reports and spending numerous nights in the lab have benefited me in that I am well versed in all aspects of the life sciences.
