My comments on tutoring Poetry : Published works.

I prefer to demonstrate how to understand content. My tactics are deemed personal modeler as a teaching style. I deliver the content through demonstrating it. I act more as a guide or coach and show students how to do the tasks. Student participation as an important part of my lesson plans. Demonstrators often incorporate different learning styles into lessons.
I majored in English Literature and Humanities in college before changing majors to Paralegal Studies and minoring in English Literature. Performed duties as an Editorial Assistant in Humanities and in high school annual poetry and creative writing review. I have been an AP Literature and Composition teacher as well as Twelfth grade Language Arts instructor for over 16 years. I teach others by first trying to understand the way that person learns best. If I find that one way does not work for that student, I will try a different approach. I have found that many students have an easier time grasping basic understanding by using real life examples to which they can relate. Once a basic understanding is achieved, further learning can begin. I believe it is important for a student to feel they can be honest about their progress and feel comfortable asking questions.
