I prefer to demonstrate how to understand content. My tactics are deemed personal modeler as a teaching style. I deliver the content through demonstrating it. I act more as a guide or coach and show students how to do the tasks. Student participation as an important part of my lesson plans. Demonstrators often incorporate different learning styles into lessons.
I majored in English Literature and Humanities in college before changing majors to Paralegal Studies and minoring in English Literature. I have served as a substitute teacher in Hayward, CA for 1 1/2 years. I worked as a tutor for Learning & Loving It in San Jose, CA for 3 years. I served as a tutor and teacher of adult education in Loganville, GA for 1 year. I am currently on the substitute teacher roster for the Vicksburg School District, and I have been so for two years.

I grew up in Spain as my parents were career missionaries. From the time I was young, I have enjoyed teaching and have done it whenever I could. In 13, I taught my younger brother to read. All during high school, I tutored students. When I went to college, my part-time job was to be the assistant to the Spanish professor and to teach in the language lab. I taught for many years in schools overseas, in Nicaragua and Spain. In the U.S. I taught Spanish for 2 years in Piney Woods and 3 years at Clinton High School.

I have found that many students have an easier time grasping basic understanding by using real life examples to which they can relate.
