I started teaching tennis to juniors at the age of 16. I enjoyed that very much. For close to 10 years I taught at a country club in Connecticut. During my time there I did not focus on winning, but our record went from 0-7 to 7-0. I attribute this to the power of positive teaching. I can read about it, or hear a lecture about it, but seeing it helps me understand the subject. This type of teaching would be done with movies, drawing or acting out the situation.
