Currently I am a college student majoring in environmental science. I have been doing art since I can remember. I have recenty started selling my own pieces of art that I create. I have taken a college art course and passed it. I have used different mediums (oil paint, acrylic paint, watercolor) and tried different types of art/creating (painting, sketching, friendship bracelets, hand and machine sewing, etc) I am pretty mellow. When teaching a student, i try to help them understand the concept of the lesson before trying to explain the procedure. Once i have explained the concept to them, I show them how to work out the problem. Once I have walked them through a few problems, I let them try to do a couple on their own, until they get stuck. When they get stuck I try to reinforce the concept, while not actually helping the student work out the problem, unless it is neccesarry. I am a recent graduate of Rosamond High School. During my time there I took math all the way up to AP Calculus. I took the AP test, and am awaiting the results. I have a refined mathematical aptitude, and strong people skills.
