Experience Summary
I have been learning sign for 4 years now and have been one of the top students in my classes. I have also been requested as a teacher's assitant multiple times as well as an ASL tutor for all levels. I am recommended by members of the Deaf community as well as my instructors to continue and tutoring, so that I may pass on my understanding of Deaf culture, American Sign Language and the Deaf community. In the Deaf community this is significant because the Deaf community chooses and has an important say in who teaches sign language as well as who tutors. Being recommended to assist teachers and tutor ASL students indicates that the Deaf community has trusted me to pass on information and understanding of Deaf culture and it's language.
My Hobbies
Being active in the Deaf community, going to the latest movies, playing video games and camping.
