My life has been filled with teaching and working with children. At the age of ninteen as a very young mother I felt a sense of duty in teaching my children how to achive higher than they can ever have imagined. I love to see the look of awe on their faces when they realize that they to can understand which ever subject that slips them. The rest is simple practice, practice, practice seals the deal. Then stride to the next hurdle. Each child has a different way of learning things. I find many times that a child can have to much or to little of something in their lives which interrupts their natural thought pattern. I am a musician and teacher at heart and within the past two years I have found a way to combine those two passions into the most rewarding job I've ever had. I've been teaching music lessons, usually with guitar, for well over a year now and I love every second of it. I'm in pursuit of getting a music degree right now and by teaching and taking classes, I'm learning more than I could have ever hoped for. I have been playing guitar for about six years and I'm completely self-taught. I do, however, know music theory and many other music fundamentals as well. I can also read and write sheet music.
