A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of University of Irvine, I have learned to achieve knowledge through research and inquiry. Researching was a major part of my degree alongside to writing and analyzing. This helps me teach the students to effectively gather their information on the area of their study. Moreover, I have tutored chemistry for two semesters in Irvine through Education Outreach Program. During my credentials, I interned at two prestigious elementary schools. I learned to manage a classroom by myself and plan for different subjects such as math, language arts, social study, science and art. I have tutored in Arabic as it being my native language.

Education is extremely important to me. As an educator, I think it is important to not only share one's knowledge, but to be able to adapt one's teaching style for each student. Through my experience, I know it is important to have patience and be open-minded with my students. I enjoy tutoring and being a positive role model to all my students.
I have earned a bachelors degree in Psychology, passed the CBEST, and have about four years of work experience as a tutor. I tutored students, ranging from grades K-12, in various subjects, but mainly in Mathematics and Language Arts/Reading. Also, in a previous position, I managed after-school tutoring programs for both elementary and junior high schools at the school site, in-home, and public location/library.
