I like to expose them to all areas if they are open as I feel it can help them in other ways to enhance other skills. It is important for students to move at their own pace, while encouraging them. I start with basic drawing, watercolor, etc., introducing them slowly to other mediums if they are open. I was the art director at camp Newman in 2011, and taught Hebrew school from 1982-1987 in LA, and from 2009-2011 in Fresno.
