I recently graduated with my Bachelors from the University of Tennessee. My degree is in English, but I have tons of experience tutoring in just about everything. The ages I have tutored most is older elementary, middle, and high schools as well as college. I can especially help prepare students for college and help them succeed in college. A Little Bit About Me...

While earning my MA in English, I spent two years tutoring students in English and training/mentoring other tutors. For the last two years, I have been designing and delivering trianing curriculum. I have plans to return to Middle Tennessee State University in January 2012 to earn my PhD in Math and Science Education.
I love helping people, particularly children, reach their full potential by becoming life-long learners. Whenever I meet with a student, whether it be one-on-oe or in the classroom, I strive to identify his/her learning style and to create a connection to the lesson to his/her future experiences in the world beyond the classroom. I am a graduate from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelors degree in English; in which, has enabled me an understanding in subject of English and writing. Upon receiving my degree, I began working for Smith County Middle School as an In School Suspension teacher. I am currently finishing my second year at this position. My responsibilities are to tutor and teach various degrees of students with various subject disciples while in school suspension. After graduating with an English major and a minor in secondary education from Union University, I moved to Nashville to begin my graduate degree. I finished with my MA in English from Belmont University while teaching full-time. I have spent the last 15 years teaching all levels of English in grades 8-12.
