I have been in the field of education for 10+ years. I taught Computer Science courses that included Web Design and New Media, Desktop Publishing and Computer Graphics. I like building my own computer since the ones I see on the retail are not powerful enough for my own purposes. I have designed websites and managed the websites including the one of the school where I previously worked. Managing it means doing some tweaking of the HTML codes and the CSS. I do a lot of Graphics and photo editing since I also shoot a lot of pictures. I Have design posters, logos, and animations for web ads. I keep learning new stuff since technology keeps on advancing and evolving.

My comments on tutoring Graphic Design : I originally started as a traditional graphic designer working in a very large advertising agency in the UK. I trained designers to use the Apple Mac system since 1990 working with all the new programs which evolved throughout the years.

I work normally in groups to mentor staff/clients or students to understand the importance of great design through typography and quality design using basic programs like pagemaker through to InDesign. Individual one-on-one is preferable as I can dedicate my time to bring out the creative expressions. Professional design can make the difference by setting you apart from the competition. I like to give a student the edge with eye-catching graphics and make a statement about that will get them attention

Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.
Web manager and usability analyst as well as instructor. I have been asked at various jobs to teach training classes to my peers because of my ability to deliver an easy to understand lesson. I have earned my Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology in Wroclaw, Poland. For some more years I worked there, where I loved teaching students and doing scientific research. Looking for new challenges I accepted an offer to join College of Engineering at NC State University as a visiting professor.
