I believe the best aproach to teaching is by finding an area of interest and building off that interest. History can be brought to life through movies, music, literature and other materials to make it come to life. I was am American History tutor through the Academic Achievement Center at Bridgewater State College for my college career. I have also interned at the middle school level in high school to teach young children the wonders of history. I helped to tutor college students struggle to make the grade at the introductory history level. I have extensive knowledge in american history, specifically the civil war time period, as well as latin american history.

I was an assistant teacher to a 3rd grade class at Wilson's Mills Elementary from 2001 until 2003. My duties included assisted the teacher and helping the students in a manner to help them learn at their pace. And I also have an 8 year old son who attends River Dell Elementary.
