I have been in the field of education for 10+ years. I taught Computer Science courses that included Web Design and New Media, Desktop Publishing and Computer Graphics. I like building my own computer since the ones I see on the retail are not powerful enough for my own purposes. I have designed websites and managed the websites including the one of the school where I previously worked. Managing it means doing some tweaking of the HTML codes and the CSS. Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

Web manager and usability analyst as well as instructor. I have been asked at various jobs to teach training classes to my peers because of my ability to deliver an easy to understand lesson. I've been told I am very good at explaining a topic that someone has no experience with at all. I am on contract with NC States Computer Training Unit.
I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.

Learn real problem-solving from real-world experience.

I have historically been a sketch artist. This talent led to me into graphic design for advertising. I later majored in advertising and worked several internships and practicums with a variety of ad agencies and publication, including Southern Living. Over half of my 24-year is comprised of creative management positions. Recently, I decided to get back into higher education to earn my Masters degree in graphic design.

I have earned my Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology in Wroclaw, Poland. For some more years I worked there, where I loved teaching students and doing scientific research. Looking for new challenges I accepted an offer to join College of Engineering at NC State University as a visiting professor. After a few years, when my contract expired, I got a position of Math and Statistics Teacher at Fuquay-Varina High. Teaching has always played a key role in my life. In 1997 I graduated from Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as both a dance major and an Advanced Placement student. During my time in high school I was selected to tutor my fellow peers in Mathematics, as well as chosen to be a dance teacher's assistant. I developed some tricks and techniques on my own which have really helped me in solving problems very fast. I will be happy to share some with the student if he/she is willing to learn. The student needs to be hard working because I am not there to give them a magic formula to solve problems. They will be able to learn to apply their analytical abilities and solve problems with proper reasoning. I have rarely used textbooks in Math, the only reason I used books was to find more problems to solve.
