As a volunteer, I have enjoyed teaching children with learning disabilities. I believe I can make a difference as a tutor. For example, one day I overheard my son's Kindergarten teacher say she would have to hold back one of the students from entering first grade because the child could not count to ten or say the alphabet. After graduating from art school in 1983, I have worked for numerous screen print and souvenir companies in Colorado, Texas and New Mexico.
