I wouldn't have a "professional" description for teaching style as my education was solidly based in the sciences. However, I believe that by teaching intuitive thought processes and critical thinking skills, students can easily adapt to the tasks given be they in science or liberal arts. While planning for a career in medicine, I obtained a BS in biology with a minor in Chemistry. During the application and acceptance process I was an adjunct faculty member at a local technical college. My courses taught were remedial Algebra, biology, and anatomy and physiology. During the hours between classes I was a paid Tutor in the college's learning assistance center.

I am a recent graduate of Alabama State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Graduating magna cum laude at the top of my class with a 3.65/4.0 grade point average, I was always sought after for help in those tough curriculum classes like physics, chemistry, genetics and molecular biology. In the spring of 2006 I began formally tutoring general and organic chemistry to college juniors and seniors for the physical science/chemistry professor at my university. I have had two National Institute of Health fellowships in the past three years at the Medical University of South Carolina and Washington State University. I have also published research articles in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Journal of Natural Products and Tetrahedron letters and two more in the publication process. I do have a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Iowa in 2005 and a First Class BSc degree in chemistry from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. I have taught chemistry to numerous students from high school in Nigeria to undergraduates at the University of Iowa, USA, for over 7 years.
