Experience Summary
I have had two National Institute of Health fellowships in the past three years at the Medical University of South Carolina and Washington State University. I have also published research articles in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Journal of Natural Products and Tetrahedron letters and two more in the publication process. I do have a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Iowa in 2005 and a First Class BSc degree in chemistry from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. I have taught chemistry to numerous students from high school in Nigeria to undergraduates at the University of Iowa, USA, for over 7 years. I can comfortably teach any part of chemistry and mathematics very well and equally fluent in English language.
Teaching Style
Teaching has become part of a daily process in my life. I believe that any average student with a good and experienced teacher can equally perform as much as the best student in any field. My patience, advanced education and wealth of experience in teaching chemistry have helped me to put joy in the smiles of many students over the years. My goal in teaching any students is to see them with flying colors after the tutoring/teaching because that's when I am happy too.
