A Little Bit About Me...

All children can learn, but in different ways. As a teacher I had to figure out the various ways that my students learned and incorporated that into my lessons. I did a lot of small group teaching and hands on activities. I always did whatever I needed to do in order for my children to be successful.
I graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Elementary Education grades K-6. While in school I worked at Sylvan Learning Centers to earn a little extra money. I have taught Kindergarten for 3 years. All of my students were successful.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love to learn, and love passing that on to others. I am a patient personality, and I may present a problem to a student to evaluate where they are. From there, we can go either backwards or to more advanced work. Education is very important for myself and for my children, and I like to instill that learning takes you further in life than where someone may have not even dreamed. I enjoy being able to work with children and being able to positively impact their lives whether that be through empowering them to succeed or teaching new skills. Throughout my graduate studies I worked as a substitute teacher from grades pre-k-12; however I especially enjoyed working with younger children as it allows for more creativity and thinking outside of the box.
