A Little Bit About Me...

My experience started in my high school years helping my brother and sisters with homework while our mom was working. Presently I am employed at a day care center/ school, were everyday is spent engaged with the kids and their educational needs. I love interacting with the children at work so much so, that the idea of taking on tutoring sounds more so like a new hobby.
The child chooses the style. What I mean by this is that every child is different and every one of them learn differently. Teaching on a more personal level is how to aid the best results.

I am a really good remedial mathematics teacher.
I am a veteran Teacher of Mathematics; I have been affiliated with the Jackson Public Schools District approximately twenty (20) years or more, serving in various positions as a Limited Substitute Teacher in Mathematics (primarily), English and JROTC as well. I believe all students can learn. Every student has different learning styles and I believe if a teacher can make learning fun, students will remember what that teacher has tried to teach.
I have been a Special Education teacher for 24 years. During that time, I was an Assistant Teacher, with several elementary schools in Mississippi. I was chosen as one of Mississippi's most outstanding teachers, in 1995. That same year, I was chosen, out of all teachers in the United States, to study at George Washington's home in Virginia.
