Marine Biology is one of my top subjects! I have a Master's Degree in Marine Biology and have conducted independent research projects in this field.

I prefer a relaxed atmosphere of one-on-one teaching with a hands-on approach. I feel that part of the problem, for so many students, is that they are not comfortable approaching their teachers and asking questions. I earned two bachelor degrees from the University of North Carolina in December of 2007. From there, I chose to move to Massachusetts to participate in a ground breaking fellowship at MATCH Charter Public High School. I chose this alternate route to receiving teaching certification because of the classroom experience it provided me. In addition to earning certification and completing student teaching hours, I tutored for 20-30 hours a week in all subject areas in grades 9, 10, and 11.
