My comments on tutoring Psychology : I scored a 5 on the AP Psychology exam when I was in high school, took several psychology courses as an undergraduate, and earned my master's degree in developmental psychology.

I have been a private tutor and academic coach since the summer of 2020. Previously, I taught creative writing to children ages 8-18 at Writopia Lab's summer sleepaway camp (2017). I interned with the reading specialist, ESL teacher, art teacher, and speech therapist at Anne Hutchinson School in 2016 and 2017. I helped students struggling with reading and writing. Tutor for Regular Elementary and Special Education

I have recently retired after 30+ years as an elementary special and regular education teacher. For the past 15 years I have also worked as a tutor for the city of White Plains. I have done extensive private tutoring for the past 20 years. For 17 years I worked as an elementary special education classroom teacher at New York Hospital in an out-patient day treatment program. This program involved elementary school age children who displayed severe emotional and academic difficulties and were unable to function in a regular school setting.
