My artistic background is wide and rich. I am a three time participant in the nationally known and annually held (since 1921) Summer Indian Art Market, where I have sold many of my paintings, and , am a current member of the prestigious Legends Gallery, located in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have recieved commissions from both private businesses (billboard signs), community centers (murals) and NBC, enlisting me to build several clay masks for the pilot television show, "Reconstruction". I have privately tutored children in drawing and painting as well as taught art classes to children on the Crow reservation in Montana for the Center Pole Community Center. My style of teaching, especially with tutoring, is to find out what kind of learner my student is: tacit, oral, or verbal. Then the lesson style can be geared to that, while leading the student to become more aware of the other abilities and options. Also, it is imperative that students understand why they are learning what is being presented to them. Cause and effect leads to greater awareness and more objective, analytical, and critical thinking. A Little Bit About Me...

As a student in Health Science, i.e. Medical Technology, I worked in a genetics laboratory for 14 years learning lab instrumentation, trouble-shooting, cytogenetics and professional etiquette. Lectures as well as public presentations of newly discovered genetic abnormalities was my passion. I truly enjoyed preparing and presenting these exciting talks.
