I have recieved commissions from both private businesses (billboard signs), community centers (murals) and NBC, enlisting me to build several clay masks for the pilot television show, "Reconstruction". I provide a rich, diverse, and creative set of skills and tools (for auditory, visual, and tactile/kinesthetic learners) to assist students, ages five to ten, in their reading, writing, math and social studies subjects.
I've provided tutoring for low-income students on a month-to-month basis around the Albuquerque area. My substitute teaching experience with Rio Rancho district has offered many opportunities for growth as a teacher in many different grade levels and settings. I have provided teaching support at one pre-school, six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school with coverage in most state-required subjects. Then the lesson style can be geared to that, while leading the student to become more aware of the other abilities and options. Also, it is imperative that students understand why they are learning what is being presented to them.
