I have worked as a student teaching assistant in private Ivy league boarding schools and I have taught in inner city urban setting. I have also had to the opportunity to take graduate chemistry courses both for credit and audit at University of California-San Diego, and San Diego State University and Tennessee State University. I am patient and easy going with my students. I try to communicate with them to see what their specific needs are or where they need help most. When practicing homework problems I try to elaborate on them by showing them what they should look for before even starting the problem, what steps to take, and usually ask them a variation of the same problem. This has helped my students grasp the concept they are learning and has made it easier for them to remember how to complete a problem when it comes to tests.
