A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is more socratic. I help students inquire and debate between facts with opposing viewpoints based on asking and answering questions to stimulate critical thinking and to illuminate ideas. This system is not designed to confuse students but to show them a straight way of dealing with axioms therefore not making bad decisions on standardized test. Usually the people that I tutor become leaders in their class thus improving test scores thus reaching their bottom line.

I finished my lower division coursework at a california community college (AHC) and earned a total of six associate degrees. While at the community college, I administered practice test for students in MESA in mathematics (Calculus 1,2,3, and 4) while also working the maximum of 20 hours a week in the campus math lab (walk-in tutoring). Furthermore, I attended and graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in physics and a minor in mathematics and finished the necessary coursework to apply to all medical school programs in to the country. I tutored for side money while attending UCLA. Currently, I'm a graduate student at SDSU. I'm two courses and a Master's thesis away from receiving my Master's degree in Physics.

I recently completed my Bachelors in Chemical Engineering this past September from UCI. My math skills are very strong. I'm also proficient in Chemistry and Physics. I have been hired as a private tutor multiple times for high school students for both math and science and have tutored friends in college level math as well. This has helped my teaching ability and helped develop one-on-one skills with my students.
