I recently completed my Master's degree in Portuguese at Brigham Young University. As part of my Master's program, I taught beginning and intermediate Portuguese for five semesters to classes both small and large. My studies included not only language and linguistics but also culture and history of both Portugal and Brazil. I have experience in teaching reading comprehension and writing as well as speaking, and am familiar with ACTFL guidelines for oral proficiency. It helps to know before hand what the lesson and subject is, just so I can remember what it is and to be more prepared. I would prefer the library, just because it is big and open. The library in Tooele is a great example. It has rooms that can be used. I would prefer tutoring no more than 10 students at a time. If I can get a copy of the lesson before hand, I can be prepared.
