My primary experience lies with Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Program. This program was established to promote and nurture minorities interested in pursuing a career in the sciences and mathematics. I was involved in the program as a fellow. This position required me to mentor a group of younger scholar students. The position required me organize events (such as tours of science industries and resume building session), establish program outline for the school year, lead mentoring sessions, and facilitate study sessions.

As a graduate assistant teaching a section of College Algebra at Minnesota State University, Mankato for past three years, I have gained a tremendous amount of experience and insights to become a successful educator and a leader. Now that I have completed my Masters degree in Mathematical Statistics, I want to continue to help students achieve their goal.
