I am a few years out of high school, and I've taken several college classes. My AP knowledge spans almost every subject. I can help with almost all high school level classes and below. The various sciences are probably my best subjects, however my knowledge of Biology is fairly limited. I have tutored a few High School Freshman before in a program called "Senior Mentoring" I have also helped out a few family friends to get the grade to graduate. This really depends on the subject, however, I like to do drills to keep basic skills sharp, and to learn new skills. Each student is different, and will need slightly adjusted methodology. Teaching math is much different than doing math. Although I have a Bachlors in Mathamatics from Northern Illinois University, my training from The Pi Group in Singapore Math Instruction is really what sets me apart. The U.S. ranks 25th in the world for Math Education. Singapore is consistently first or 2nd. Students build a deep understanding through the use of muniplulatives and pictorial representations. When students think they are "bad at math", it is usually an issue of the instruction they are receiving.
