I have been tutoring for many years and enjoy teaching students. The ability of each student varies depending on the need of each student and if the student has a disability. I have taken 2 semesters of ASL at the college level and frequently interact with the local Deaf community in Lakeland, FL. I have tutored 1 student privately in Spanish for 2 years, and she went from failing her class to passing both the AP and IB exams with a 5 and a 6, respectively. I have also tutored small groups in Spanish for one semester ranging from high school introductory level to AP level. I have also tutored for one semester of ASL at the college level, and one semester of Japanese at the high school introductory level. I aim for all tutoring to be done in the target language, but I recognize that this is unhelpful for many students.
