I have been tutoring math for the past 2 years, focusing primarily on high school math. I have tutored students taking Georgia's Math 1, 2, and 3 courses (equivalent to Algebra I,II, and III, Geometry, some Trig and some Statistics). I have also assisted students with improving their SAT scores and do SAT tutoring through a private company. I have helped adults prepare to take their GED Math Exam and other college entrance exams. I liken tutoring sessions to the repair of a crumbling pyramid. I believe that every student is capable of learning and understanding the material that is presented to them in class, but that due to some reason, he or she does not understand some of the basic concepts that later material adds onto.
